Biography: Norwegian black metal band 1349 was formed in 1997, Oslo, Norway. The name 1349 was chosen by the band because it is the year the Black Death was spread to Norway. The band comprises Archaon, Frost, Ravn, Seidemann, Destructhor (session member), Mads Hardcore (session member) and Tony Laureano (session member). The band's musical style and songwriting is modeled after that of bands from the Second Wave of Norwegian black metal of the early 1990s, and notably does not incorporate synthesizers. The band's debut self-titled EP was released in 2001, and included only four tracks. From our site you may download 1349's new album, Revelations of the Black Flame, in mp3. This album yielded "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" (Pink Floyd cover). In 2009, the band mixed the album. Revelations of the Black Flame was co-mixed by Tom Gabriel Fischer.
