American alternative rock and hard rock band 3 Doors Down (or 3DD) from Escatawpa, Mississippi, was formed in 1994. The band was formed by drummer vocalist Brad Arnold, guitarist Matt Roberts and bassist Todd Harrell, and currently consists of Brad Arnold, Matt Roberts, Todd Harrell, Chris Henderson and Greg Upchurch. They quickly gained popularity in 2000 with their debut album, The Better Life, which has become 6 times Platinum since release. It yielded several singles, "Kryptonite", "Loser", "Duck and Run" and "Be Like That". The album's lead single, "Kryptonite", reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.
