Biography: Canadian heavy metal, speed metal and thrash metal band 3 Inches of Blood from Vancouver, was formed in 1999. The band comprises Cam Pipes, Justin Hagberg, Shane Clark and Ash Pearson. The group initially performed with only Jamie Hooper on vocals before the addition of Cam Pipes. In 2004, they released their album, Advance and Vanquish, which produced several singles such as "Wykydtron", "Swordmaster", "Axes of Evil", "Crazy Nights" and "Destroy the Orcs". Fire Up the Blades marks the first major role of Joey Jordison of Slipknot and Murderdolls, as a producer. This was not his first feat as producer overall however, as he produced several tracks on the 2005 Roadrunner Records artists collaboration album, Roadrunner United: The All-Star Sessions.
