American pop and dance-pop singer Aaron Carter (Aaron Charles Carter) was born on December 7, 1987, in Tampa, Florida, United States. He is the younger brother of singer Nick Carter, from the boy band Backstreet Boys. His music consists of hip-hop and romantic ballads. He plays several instruments, including drums, piano, guitar, and saxophone; however, he normally does not perform as a member of his band during concerts. He is also a dancer who has done some of his own choreography. He achieved mainstream success in 2000 with his breakthrough album, Aaron's Party (Come Get It), which yielded several singles "I Want Candy", "Aaron's Party (Come Get It), "That's How I Beat Shaq" and "Bounce".
