Anna Christine Nalick, known as Anna Nalick is an American pop singer-songwriter born on March 30, 1984 in Glendora, California, the United States. She has been exposed to the music since her childhood. At home her parents were listening to Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Elvis Presley and the Everly Brothers. Though she cites other artists as her influence, some of them are Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Blind Melon and Stevie Ray Vaughan. She signed to Columbia Records in 2003 and decided to hold on her studies. The debut and the only one album Wreck of the Day was released in 2005. The album produced a hit single Breath (2 AM) which received a heavy airplay on the radio and TV making Nalick one of the best newcomers. The album also spawned several other singles like “In the Rough” and “Wreck of the Day”, but they couldn’t repeat the success of the debut single.
