Biography: B12 are a British electronic duo formed in London, UK in 1990. The duo consists of Mike Golding and Steve Rutter. The band appeared at the first time under different monikers including Musicology, Redcell and Cmetric but finally stopped on B12. The band is often mistaken for being a Detroit duo as their sound resembles to such techno Detroit artists like Juan Atkins and Derrick May. During their career the duo has released numerous EPs and only two full length albums, namely Electro-Soma and Time Tourist. You can download B12’s albums in mp3 from our site. Both Golding and Rutter give interviews very rare and shy away from the press so there’s little bit of mystery about their personalities. They are regarded as one of the most influential electronic acts in the UK in 1990s. Their sound is classified as techno, ambient and IDM.
