Basement Jaxx is an English electronic music duo formed in London, England in 1994. The band composes of Simon Ratcliffe, Felix Buxton and of vocalists Vula Malinga, Sam Sparro. The duo has released five studio albums and has produced several hit singles so far. The number one singles include such songs as “Red Alert”, “Rendez-Vous”, “Bingo-Bango”, "Where's Your Head At?", "Lucky Star" (featuring Dizzee Rascal), "Good Luck" (featuring Lisa Kekaula). They also have released two compilation albums and one of them The Singles hit the top spot of the UK Albums chart and became second in Ireland. The band has released their last album Scars in September 2009. The album got positive and favorable reviews from some of the media like BBC Music, PopMatters and some others.
