Biography: Bauhaus was an English rock band formed in Northampton, England in 1978. The band consisted of Peter Murphy (vocals), Daniel Ash (guitar), Kevin Haskins (drums) and of David J (bass). Originally the band was known as Bauhaus 1919 but later within a year they dropped numbers. During its history the band underwent several breakups and reformations. At first they broke up in 1983, reunited in 1998 for a tour and reunited again in 2005 and in three years after the release of their last album Go Away White they disbanded. Bauhaus is considered to be the first gothic rock group ever due to their dark and gloom style. Also their music incorporated punk, glam rock and even funk and dub. The band has released five studio albums and two of them were certified Silver in the UK. These are Mask and The Sky’s Gone Out. From our site you can download these albums by Bauhaus in mp3.
