| Biography: |
Scottish adult alternative, dream pop and alternative band The Blue Nile from Glasgow, Scotland, was formed in 1981. The band comprises Paul Buchanan (vocals, guitar), Robert Bell (bass) and Paul Joseph Moore (keyboards). The band was formed when Paul Buchanan and his friend, Robert Bell, met Paul Joseph Moore after graduating from the University of Glasgow in the late 1970s. Their music is built heavily on synthesizers and electronic instrumentation and percussion, although later works have featured acoustic guitar more prominently. They rose to fame in 1984 with their debut album, A Walk Across the Rooftops. Their follow-up album, Hats, was released in 1989. The album yielded three singles, "The Downtown Lights," "Headlights on the Parade," and "Saturday Night". And now, you may download The Blue Nile's best selling album, Hats, in mp3 from our site.
