American folk rock and country singer-songwriter Bob Dylan (birth name Robert Allen Zimmerman) was born on May 24, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota, U.S. He made two important career moves 1962. He legally changed his name to Robert Dylan, and signed a management contract with Albert Grossman. While expanding and personalizing genres, he has explored many traditions of American song, from folk, blues and country to gospel, rock and roll and rockabilly to English, Scottish and Irish folk music, and even jazz and swing. He also performs with guitar, piano and harmonica. He achieved mainstream success in 1963 with his album, The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, which produced two hit singles, "Corrina, Corrina" and "Honey, Just Allow Me One More Chance".
