American trumpeter and jazz composer Chris Botti (also known as Christopher Stephen Botti) was born on October 12, 1962, in Portland, Oregon, U.S. At he age of 9, he began playing the trumpet. In 1995, he released his debut album, First Wish, which received critical acclaim. His follow-up album, Midnight Without You, was released in 1997. He achieved his break in 2001 with his fourth album, Night Sessions, which was released on the Columbia Records. It became one of his most successful albums. Night Sessions produced his well known compositions including, "Best Time", "When I See You", "You Move Me", "Blue Horizon" and "Light The Stars".
