Daniel Schuhmacher was born on April 19, 1987 in Pfullendorf, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He's known as the winner of the sixth season of Deutschland Sucht den Superstar, the German variant of American Idol. During the show Daniel performed many famous songs like Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics, You Give me Something by James Morrison, You Are So Beautiful by Joe Cocker and others. He released his debut album on June 19, 2009 and it topped the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The single from the album, titled "The album", Anything But Love got the first place in charts of the German-speaking European countries, and in Europe it reached number 5. The second single from the album is Nothing’s Gonna Change It has been recently released, yet it hasn’t entered the European charts.
