The Doors are one of the most popular American rock bands of all times. The group was formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California by Jim Morrison, John Densmore, Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger. Morrison was group’s front man and after his death in 1971 the group continued to perform as trio but disbanded in 1973. Despite their short active period The Doors still remain very popular. The lyrics and the personality of Jim Morrison is what makes the group to be distinctive. Major The Doors hits are Light My fire, L.A.
