Biography: Drowning Pool is an American hard rock/heavy metal band formed in Dallas, Texas, the United States in 1996. The current band’s line-up composes of Ryan McCombs on vocals, C.J. Pierce on guitar and backing vocals, Stevie Benton on bass guitar and on backing vocals and of Mike Luce on drums, percussion and backing vocals. During the band’s career, they have released three studio albums, one live album and one extended play. The debut album Sinner has become the most popular band’s release to date. It was propelled by the hit single “Bodies” which reached number 6 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Track chart and number 12 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks. The album peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Platinum. The band played at the Ozzfest tour along with Ozzy Osbourne.
