The Enid is a British rock band formed in 1975. The founding members were Robert John Godfrey, Stephen Stewart and Francis Lickerish. But the band came through multiple lineup changes and the only remaining member from the original lineup is Robert John Godfrey. The other members are Jason Ducker, Dave Storey and Max Read. The band has released multiple albums and quite a number of singles but non of them could enter the charts to date and the band hasn’t achieved any mainstream success. At the same time the band discovered an interesting marketing solution for distributing their recordings. Besides traditional CDs and vinyls, they organized order by mail of the tracks you wish to listen to. So the listener chooses the songs from a catalogue, orders them and gets them by mail.
