Etta James is an American blues and R&B singer born on January 25, 1938 in Los Angeles, California, the United States. She was born to 14 years old mother, her father is unknown though according to her mother it was a famous billiards player Rudolf Vanderon. She began singing at the age of 5 at the local baptist church. Later she founded with her friends a musical trio “The peaches” and the band gained the popularity with their song number one “The Wallflower”. After such success Etta left the band and embarked on a solo career. Her debut album At last! was released in 1961 and spawned three hit singles which entered the top 10 of Soul charts. In 2003 she got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 2006 she released her Definitive Collection of her hit singles. From our site you can download Etta James’ hit collection in mp3.
