Biography: Austrian electronic musician Christian Fennesz (also known simply as Fennesz) was born on 25 December 1962, in Vienna. He was born and raised in Austria and studied music formally in art school. The music of the Beach Boys has had an influence on Fennesz, as revealed by his cover of "Don’t Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder)" on the Plays EP. He started playing guitar around the ages 8 or 9. In the late 1980s, he formed a band called Maische, with a 'noise meets pop' approach similar to bands such as Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine. Maische found some local popularity, but Fennesz was uncomfortable with the band setup and left. In 2008, he released his fourth solo album, Black Sea, which produced eight tracks. And now, you may download this album by Christian Fennesz in mp3 from our site. The track "Saffron Revolution" was released as a single prior to the release of the album
