From Autumn to Ashes (or FATA) is an American band formed in Long Island, New York, the United States in 2000. The band’s current members are Francis Mark on lead vocals and drums, Brian Deneeve on guitars and backing vocals, Mike Pilato on bass and backing vocals, Rob Lauritsen on guitars and Jeff Gretz on drums and vocals. The band’s music can be classified as screamo, post-hardcore and metalcore. The band has released four studio albums. The debut one Too Bad You’re Beautiful was released in 2001 and sold about 30,000 copies. The band appeared in such magazines like Alternative Press, Revolver, CMJ and many others. They shared the stage with such bands like Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Suicide Machines and Finch. The album became very successful in the underground.
