Clifford Joseph Price better known as Goldie is an English electronic musician, disc jokey, visual artist and actor. He was born on September 19, 1965 in Walsall, Staffordshire, England. He began his serious music career in 1992. A year earlier he was fascinated by British breakbeat music scene and was introduced to jungle/drum’n’bass producers Dennis 'Dego' McFarlane and Mark 'Marc Mac' Clair. That was the beginning of his career. He achieved the breakthrough to the mainstream success in 1995 with his album Timeless. The album debuted at number seven on charts which was a record for drum and bass album.
