Green Day is a rock trio formed in the US in 1987. The band members are: Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass guitar, vocals), and Tré Cool (drums, percussion). The group had gained the immense popularity around the world and was totally recognized by the music world. Their awards: three Grammys, Best Alternative Album for Dookie, Best Rock Album for American Idiot, and Record of the Year for "Boulevard of Broken Dreams”. In total they sold about 22 million of records. But they were not always so popular. They became known after the Dookie release, which was very successful. They entered rock charts and reached the first position. Green Day’s album American Idiot got the worldwide success and you can download it in mp3 from our site. They won all eight awards they were nominated for at MTV Music Awards 2005. The new album is titled 21st Century Breakdown and was released on May 15, 2009. The group has already planned the tour around the US, Europe in Australia and New Zealand. The album has become Gold or Platinum in many countries around the world.
