Biography: American psych-folk and experimental rock band Grizzly Bear form Brooklyn, New York, was formed in 2004. The band consists of Daniel Rossen (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Ed Droste (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chris Taylor (bass, backing vocals, various instruments, producer) and Christopher Bear (drums, backing vocals). Their debut album, Horn of Plenty, was released in mp3. It’s known for its whispy, dreamy sound and its multi-layered vocal harmonies. Rolling Stone magazine wrote about the first album that "The pure atmospheric power of the songs is more than enough to hypnotize". The band's second album, Yellow House, was released in 2006.
