Biography: Halifax is an American emo punk band formed in Thousand Oaks, California, US in 2003. The current line-up of the band consists of Chris Brandt, Adam Charles, Eric Ivener and Tommy Guindon. Their debut album Start Back at Start was self-produced and self-funded and you can download this Halifax album in mp3 from our site. The next release was also self-produced and that was A Writer’s Reference EP which is also available on our site. In December 2006 Halifax competed on MTV2’s show Dew Circuit Breakout and became first beating groups Fallen From the Sky and Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer. In May 2006 the band released their third work, an album The Inevitability of a Strange World. It was the first time when the band worked with a record producer. The album debuted at #130 on Billboard 200 and at #1 on Top Heatseekers chart. In 2007 the band went on tour with Madina Lake, Envy On The Coast and My American Heart.
