Hanz Florian Zimmer, known better as Hanz Zimmer is a famous German composer and producer. He was born on September 12, 1957 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Later he moved to London where he began his music career. He started to play keyboards and synthesizers for such bands like Buggles and Krisma. Later at the beginning of 1980s he teamed up with a film composer Stanley Mayers who has written the music for over than 60 movies. Together they were working on such films as Moonlightning, My Beautiful Launderette. Later he was in a group of musicians who composed the music for Last Emperor movie which won the Oscar. After this film Zimmer began his solo projects. He has composed the music for such films like Pearl Harbor, The Last Samurai, The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons.
