Hot Hot Heat is a Canadian indie band formed in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 1999. The current band members are Steve Bays (vocals and keyboards), Paul Hawley (drums), Parker Bossley (bass) and Luke Paquin (guitar). The band’s sound can be classified as indie-rock, dance-punk, new wave and post-punk revival. During its career the band has released four studio albums. They haven’t reached any great commercial success though their albums entered the charts. The best-charting album to date is their third release titled Elevator. It reached number 34 in the U.S. and number 34 in the UK. The album spawned three singles “Goodnight, goodnight”, “Middle of Nowhere” and the single, which hasn’t entered any charts “Island of the Honest Man”.
