Biography: Grammy nominated English singer Imogen Jennifer Jane Heap was born on December 9, 1977 in London, England. She began her musical career in 1996 collaborating with experimental pop band Acacia and being a guest vocalist there. Her debut album I Megaphone was released in 1998 and was critically acclaimed. The singles Getting Scared, Shine and Come Here Boy were released in limited quantities and you can download them from our site in mp3. Imogen Heap collaborated with Guy Sigsworth and they created a project Frou Frou but it didn’t get a commercial success. Heap’s next solo album was Speak for Yourself and it was released in 2005. It spawned a single Hide and Seek. Her last album Ellipse was released in 2009. During her career she collaborated with various artists like Sean Lennon, Jon Bon Jovi, Blue October and others.
