John Clayton Mayer was born on October 16, 1977 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. He’s an American musician who played at first acoustic rock but then turned to blues. He collaborated with such famous musicians as B.B. King, Buddy Guy and Eric Clapton. Also he formed a John Mayer trio with bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan and they opened the Rolling Stones. Mayer has a very successful solo career. Three of his albums Room for Squares, Heavier Things and Continuum became 2 x platinum as minimum in the US and in the UK.
