Kings of Leon is an American alternative rock band formed by close relatives - by three brothers and their cousin. Band members are: Caleb Followill, lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jared Followill, bass guitar and backing vocals, keyboards, and Nathan Followill, drums and backing vocals, Matthew Followill, lead guitar and backing vocals. The group appeared in Tennessee, in 2000 but could gain the popularity only in three years after releasing their debut album in 2003. Though the success was not so big, the group was noticed and such rock monsters as The Strokes and U2 decided to tour with them. The second album Aha Shake Heartbreak was promoted also in the UK, and the group became known in Europe. They continued touring with U2 and some other bands invited them as well. Third album Because of The Times ended with the first place in Russia and in Ireland and entered Euro charts at number twenty-five. The Kings of Leon’s album Only by the Night, released in 2008 is the best from all their works and you can download it in mp3 from our site.
