Daniel Lawrence Whitney, born on February 17, 1963 in Pawnee City, Nebraska, the USA is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He’s best known under his stage name Larry the Cable Guy. He’s the member of Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside Bill Engvall and Jeff Foxworthy. He began his career as a radio DJ and rose to fame when he developed Larry, the person he plays during all his shows. Larry is shown as a stereotypical redneck, with off-color humor and never ending stories about his family. Apart from being a stand-up comedian, Whitney recorded the comedy albums and three of them were certified Gold. They are Lord, I Apologize, A Very Larry Christmas and The Right To Bare Arms.
