Biography: Worldwide famous English rock band Led Zeppelin was formed in 1968 in London and consisted of Jimmy Page (guitar), Robert Plant (vocals), John Paul Jones (bass guitar, keyboards) and John Bonham (drums). The group disbanded in 1980 after Bonham’s death. Led Zeppelin is said to be the pioneer of heavy metal bands and influenced a lot on the rock music in general. VH1 ranked them #1 in 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock and Rolling Stone called them "the heaviest band of all time" and "the biggest band of the '70s". They didn’t release singles in the UK as they were concept album oriented group. All of the studio works reached the top 10 Billboard album chart in the US.
