Biography: Chicano rapper and music producer Lil Rob (birth name Roberto Flores) was born on September 22, 1975, in San Diego, California, U.S. He grew up in a Solana Beach, California nieghborhood called La Colonia Eden Gardens and was affiliated as a gang rapper, but later let go his gang affiliation. He now considers himself simply a chicano rapper. He made his debut as Lil Rob in 1997. He has since made many songs with artists such as Mr. Shadow, Mr. Sancho, OG Spanish Fly, and a song called "My Lowrider" which included artists Paul Wall, The Game & E-40. He achieved mainstream success in 2005 with his album, Twelve Eighteen Part I, which has brought the most commercial success to Lil Rob and has helped the Chicano rap community.
