Biography: Thomas Luther Bryan, known better as Luke Bryan, was born on July 17, 1976 in Leesburg, Georgia, the United States. He is an American country music singer-songwriter currently singed to Capitol Records. He received his first guitar at the age of fourteen, quickly learnt how to play and continued playing in local clubs. He wanted to move to Nashville but it was delayed due to his brother’s death. Eventually he arrived in Nashville in 2001 and positioned himself as a songwriter at first. One of his songwriting contributions was a title track for Travis Tritt’s album My Honky Tonk History. Later a representative of Capitol Records saw Bryan performing in the club and signed him. The debut album I’ll Stay Me was released in 2007.
