José-Manuel Thomas Arthur Chao Treviño, better known as his stage name Manu Chao, is a French Latin folk singer of Basque and Galician origin. He was born on June 21, 1961 in Paris, France. His parents escaped from Franco’s regime in Spain and successfully moved in France. Since his childhood, he was surrounded by intellectuals and artists who were his father’s acquaintances. His music influences include such groups like The Clash, The Jam and Dr. Feelgood. His first band was Hot Pants formed in the middle of 1980s. The second band was Mano Negra. Later after arriving in Madrid Manu Chao and other musicians from Mano Negra formed a new band Radio Bemba Sound System. He released four studio albums with the band. The last album is La Radiolina released in 2007. The album has become number one on the European Top 100 Albums and was certified Gold. From our site, you can download this album by Manu Chao in mp3.
