American heavy metal and hard rock band Metallica from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 1981 and currently comprises James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo. The band earned a growing fan base in the underground music community and critical acclaim, with their third album, Master of Puppets (1986), which described as one of the most influential and "heavy" thrash metal albums. In 1991, Metallica released their self-titled fifth album, Metallica, which you may download in mp3 from our site. It produced the hit singles such as "Enter Sandman", "The Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters" , "Wherever I May Roam" and "Sad but True". Metallica is also the band's best-selling album to date, with over 15 million copies sold in the United States and over 22 million copies worldwide. The band embarked on a two year tour in support of the album. The band also has won nine Grammy Awards, and has had five consecutive albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200.
