Mike Oldfield, full name is Michael Gordon Oldfield, born on 15 May 1953, Reading, Berkshire, UK. He is an English musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer. He works in different styles including New Age, classical music, electronic music and recently dance. He is known mostly for his hit of 1973 "Tubular bells" which considered to be the first rock composition with classical elements in it. Oldfield’s last work "Music of the Spheres" is the first his album written for the classical orchestra and it is available here to download in mp3. In total he released 23 albums varied in styles and manners of play. Some of them are Tres Lunas, Voyager, Elements, Amarok, Incantations, Five Miles Out, Light and Shade. During his career he had contacts with different labels including Warner, Virgin and Mercury.
