Richard Melville Hall, known as Moby was born on September 11, 1965 in New York, the USA. He's one of the most popular and famous American DJs and musicians. He works in different genres, such as Dance, Ambient, Electronica, Alternative, Pop Rock and Techno. He's multi-instrumentalis and plays Turntables, Keyboards, Guitar, Bass guitar and Drums. He writes all music himself with occasional collaborations (examples are Joy Division, James Bond Theme etc.). The breakthrough to the international success happened with a release of his 5th album Play which became 5x Platinum in the UK and 2x Platinum in the US. His famous hits are Bodyrock, Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?, Natural Blues, Porcelain, Lift Me Up, We Are All Made of Stars, Slipping Away (Crier La Vie) (in collaboration with Mylene Farmer) and Disco Lies.
