Shaffer Chimere Smith (known as Ne-Yo) is an American pop/R'n'B singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on October 18, 1979 in Camden, Arkansas, United States. He's known not only for his solo career but for his songwriting skills. He wrote "Let Me Love You" hit for singer Mario and it was his breakthrough in the recording industry. In 2006 he released his debut album In My Own Words. The hit single number one was "So Sick" debuting as #1 in Billboard 200. In 2007 he and Goo Goo Dolls performed at the concert supporting Barack Obama for US President. His last album Year of the Gentleman was nominated by Grammy Awards as Best Album 2009 and Best Contemporary R&B Album. You can download it from our site in mp3.
