American indie rock, psych-folk and lo-fi band Neutral Milk Hotel from Ruston, Louisiana, was formed in 1991. The band comprised Jeff Mangum (guitarist and songwriter) Jeremy Barnes (drums), Scott Spillane (horns) and Julian Koster (banjo, bass guitar, accordion, synthesizer). They gained popularity in 1996 with their debut album, On Avery Island, which received good critics reviews and became real break for the band, It also spawned several singles such as "You've Passed", "Someone Is Waiting", "A Baby for Pree", "Marching Theme" and "Where You'll Find Me Now". In 1996, this album reached number 53 in the UK and number 103 in the US. And now, you may download Neutral Milk Hotel's breakthrough debut album, On Avery Island, in mp3 from our site. In 1998, they released their second and final album, In the Aeroplane over the Sea.
