Canadian hard rock and alternative rock band Nickelback from Hanna, Alberta, Canada, was formed in 1995. The band comprises Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair. This band is one of the most commercially successful Canadian groups, having sold 30 million records worldwide. The band achieved mainstream success in 2001 with their third album, Silver Side Up, which was certified 8× Platinum in Canada, 6× Platinum in the US and 3× Platinum in the UK. It also produced three hit singles, "How You Remind Me", "Too Bad" and "Never Again". The lead single "How You Remind Me" reached the top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.
