Biography: Orange Juice was a Scottish post-punk band founded in one of Glasgow surburbs in 1976. At first the band’s name was Nu-Sonics. The founder of the band was Edwyn Collins and the name Orange Juice appeared in 1979. The orginal line-up of the band consisted of Edwyn Collins (guitar/vocals/songwriting), James Kirk (guitar/vocals/songwriting), David McClymont (bass guitar), Steven Daly (drums, percussion). The original line-up was signed by Polydor Records and they recorded and released the debut album entitled You Can't Hide Your Love Forever (1982). The album wasn’t a big hit but it entered the charts peaking at number 21 and it’s the best achievement of the group.You can download Orange Juice’s debut album in mp3 from our site.
