American pop and R&B girl band Pussycat Dolls (PCD) was formed in 1995 by by choreographer Robin Antin. The band was originated as a burlesque troupe. After attracting national attention, Antin eventually negotiated a record deal with A&M Records and Interscope Records in 2003, and the troupe was transformed into a music band. The band currently comprises Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta, Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton. The band achieved worldwide success with their breakthrough debut album, PCD (2005). The album spawned the hit singles, "Don't Cha" (featuring Busta Rhymes), "Stickwitu", "Beep" (featuring will.i.am), "Buttons" (featuring Snoop Dogg), "I Don't Need a Man" and "Wait a Minute" (featuring Timbaland).
