Norwegian black metal band Ragnarok was formed in Sarpsborg, Norway in 1994. The band consists of Jontho, HansFyrste, Brigge and Decepticon. The group main themes of the songs are paganism, anti-Christianity, Vikings and Satanism. The name of the band comes from the Germanic mythology. It’s the name of the apocalypse which happens after the final battle between Gods and monsters. The breakthrough for the band happened in 1997 when they recorded their second album Arising Realm featuring Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir. After this the group went on tour for the first time and performed in Germany, Denmark and took part in the Hellraiser Festival in Leipzig. In 2000 their next album Diabolical Age was released and the group went on tour with Swedish band Satanic Slaughter. In 2004 the last album Blackdoor Miracle was issued and it was positively met by the fans. You can download the last Ragnarok’s album in mp3 from our site.
