The Rapture is an American dance-punk band formed in La Mesa, California, the United Stated in 1998. The band composes of Luke Jenner (vocals and guitar), Vito Roccoforte (drums and percussion) and of Gabriel Andruzzi (keyboards, saxophone, percussion and vocals). Their music can be characterized by the fusion of different genres like post-punk, acid house, indie rock, electronica, art punk and disco. During its career the band has already released three studio albums – Mirror (1999), Echoes (2003) and Pieces of the People We Love (2006). You can download Rapture’s albums in mp3 from our site. They have released several singles as well, but and they reached moderate success - House of Jealous Lovers (#27 UK), Love is All (#38 UK), Sister Saviour (#51 UK). The band toured a lot and was a supporting act for The Killers, they also shared the stage with Interpol, and with their idols The Cure.
