Rythem is a Japanese pop music singer-songwriter duo formed in 2003 in Japan. The duo composes of two female vocalists – Yui Nitsu (plays piano, born on August 17, 1985) and Yukari Kato (plays guitar, born on April 3, 1985). The duo is currently singed to Sony Music Japan. The band has released three studio albums , one compilation album, seventeen singles and two DVDs. The debut Utatane was released in June 2004 and spawned quite many singles, like Harmonia, Tenkyu (New Summer Version), Blue Sky Blue, Hitoritabi Shararuran and Mangekyō Kirakira. The debut single Harmonia reached number 29 on the Oricon chart. This song was used as the second ending theme for the anime series Naruto.
