American rapper Tech N9ne (birth name Aaron Dontez Yates) was born on November 8, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. He is known for his wide range of collaborations with other well-known artists such as RZA, Eminem, Xzibit, Pharoahe Monch, Kool G Rap, Jayo Felony, Chino XL & KRS-One. He started his rap career because of a dare from one of his friends in high school. Early in his career, he was a member of a band called "NNUTT HOWZE". In 1999, he released his debut album, The Calm Before The Storm: Part 1. His follow-up album, The Worst, was released in 2000. His latest album, Sickology 101, was released in 2009. The album spawned three hit singles such as "Red Nose", "Sickology 101" and "Nothin'". The album also peaked at number 23 on the Billboard 200.
