Vincent Grant Gill, known better as Vince Gill was born on April 12, 1957 in Norman, Oklahoma, the United States. He is an American neotraditional country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist playing electric guitar, mandolin, dobro and banjo. He rose to fame being the member of the country rock band Pure Prairie League. They gained the popularity in 1979 with a song Let Me Love You Tonight where Gill is the lead singer. Later in 1984 he began a very successful solo career and received many awards and nominations from Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and of Grammy Awards. In 2007 he was inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. The most successful of all his albums is I Still Believe in You released in 1992.
