Wilco are an American rock band coming from Chicago, Illinois. It was formed in 1994 and consists of Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt, Nels Cline, Glenn Kotche, Pat Sansone and Mikael Jorgensen. The group released 8 studio albums in total and was nominated 4 times for Grammy Awards, but won only two as Best Alternative Music Album (A Ghost Is Born) and as Best Recording Package. Some of their albums were ranked as Gold, they are Being There (1996) and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (2002). Their most popular singles include Outtasite (Outta Mind), War on War, I'm a wheel and You Never Know from their last release in 2009 (Wilco (The Album)). Rolling Stone called Wilco “one of America's most consistently interesting bands".
