| Biography: |
Swiss electronica, synthpop and new wave band Yello was formed in 1980. The band comprises musician and conceptual artist Dieter Meier and artist and musician Boris Blank. Dieter Meier is a vocalist and lyricist, as well as manager and producer of this music group. Boris composes the songs and is responsible for the characteristic sound, having the reputation of a perfectionist. Boris considers himself as a constructor of music, starting composing with manipulation of self-recorded samples and finishing the tracks with the participation of invited professional musicians. The band's sound is mainly characterised by unusual music samples, a heavy reliance on rhythm and Dieter Meier's dark voice. Dieter Meier is a vocalist and lyricist, as well as manager and producer of this music group. The band is probably best known for their singles "The Race" and "Oh Yeah". In 1991, they released one of their most successful albums, Baby, which yielded the singles, "On the Run" and "Blender". And now, you may download this album by Yello in mp3 from our site.
