American rapper Z-Ro (birth name is Joseph W. McVey) was born on January 22, 1976. He’s also a singer, producer and is known as Southern rapper. He was imprisoned for drug possession and while he was in jail his album I’m Still Livin’ was released in 2006. The album got only positive reviews, like ”one of the best rap albums to come out of Houston" by the Houston Chronicle. Though his next album King Of Tha Ghetto: Power was met with mixed feelings. During his career he collaborated with many other artists like Guerilla Maab, Trae, Lil Flip and Chill. His main singles are Rollin, Tired ft. Mýa, Top Notch (ft. Pimp C). You can download them from our site in mp3. Z-Ro has released six videos. The video for the song I Hate You was shot while he was in Harris County Jail. He sings mostly about crimes and poverty with little exception for ballads like Lovely Day and T.H.U.G. (True Hero Under God).
