Biography: Zap Mama is a Belgian musical group founded in 1989. The band’s music is a mixture featuring traditional African instruments, Hip Hop, R & B, and of course the voice as according to Maria Daulne, the voice is an instrument itself. The group gave its first concert in 1989 and the first album Adventures in Afropea 1 was released in 1993. In total Zap Mama produced 7 studio albums including their last album Recreation (2009) which you can download in mp3 from our site. In general Zap Mama’s genre is a fusion of different genres as Marie Daulne sais she likes experimenting and discovering.
