Biography: Zephyr was a blues-based hardcore band formed in 1968 in Boulder, Colorado, the US. The band consisted of Tommy Bolin (guitar), John Faris (keyboards), David Givens (bass), Robbie Chamberlain (drums) and Candy Givens (vocals). The band is remembered for the guitar play of Tommy Bolin, though he left the group and was replaced by Jock Bartley. However the group disbanded in early 80s due to the lack of any impulse for further development. Lead vocalist Candy Givens died in 1984 having mixed drugs with alcohol. The band recorded 3 albums – Zephyr, Going back to Colorado, Sunset Ride. You can download Zephyr’s albums from our site in mp3. Zephyr also produced a live record called Live at Arts Bar & Grill.
